Concrete price per m³ in Qatar: a 2026 quote and quantity guide

There is no verified public Qatar ready-mix price range in this guide. A rate without a grade, delivery scope and quote date can be misleading. Use this method to get comparable current offers for your actual pour.

Quick answer

A 10 × 8 m slab at 150 mm needs 12 m³ before allowance, or 12.6 m³ with an illustrative 5% allowance. Multiply the supplier-confirmed order by a dated QAR/m³ quote, then add the separately quoted delivery, pump and other charges.

What a concrete price must include

Ask each plant to quote the same approved concrete specification and delivery address. A strength class alone does not describe every requirement: exposure, cement type, aggregate size, consistence, testing and the placement method may also be specified. Copy these from the project documents instead of choosing a cheaper class yourself.

Separate a material rate from delivery, pump mobilisation, pumping time, minimum-load or short-load charges, waiting time and cancelled-load charges. Ask whether the quote is per delivered cubic metre, per truck or a fixed total. Record the quote validity date and any applicable tax separately.

  • Location and site access: truck entrance, reach, parking, restrictions and washout arrangements.
  • Order size and increments: minimum load, final top-up and unused-concrete policy.
  • Scheduling: pour window, truck spacing, after-hours conditions and delay responsibility.
  • Quality: approved mix reference, delivery tickets, required sampling and testing.

Worked example: a 10 × 8 m villa slab

Convert 150 mm to 0.15 m. Net volume = 10 × 8 × 0.15 = 12 m³. For this example only, adding 5% gives 12.6 m³. If the supplier accepts 0.1 m³ increments, no further rounding is needed. If it sells only 0.5 m³ increments, the order becomes 13 m³. Confirm the actual increment rather than assuming it.

The identical dimensions in imperial units are approximately 32.81 × 26.25 ft at 5.91 in thick. Net volume is 15.70 yd³ and the 5% quantity is 16.48 yd³. Changing units must not change the physical pour.

Let R be the current rate in QAR/m³, P the quoted pump charge and D the delivery charge. The example total is 12.6R + P + D, plus any separately agreed extras. If delivery is already included in R, do not add it again. This symbolic example deliberately avoids presenting invented local prices.

Summer pours and access change the scope

For a hot-weather pour, ask the engineer and supplier to agree placement conditions, delivery timing, temperature controls and curing arrangements. Do not add water on site to solve a scheduling problem. Any special mix, cooling, night delivery or extended pump attendance belongs in the written offer.

Check whether the slab example omits beams, column pockets, steps, ramps or thickened edges. Measure the additional volume directly; do not increase waste to disguise missing geometry. The required thickness and concrete specification come from the design.

Ready-mix or bags for a small job?

Compare the whole job: finished volume, product yield, mixer capacity, labour, access, continuity of placement and disposal. A bag of cement is not a bag of complete concrete mix. Cement needs the specified aggregates and water; premixed concrete includes the dry constituents.

For structural work, use the approved mix and quality-control process. A nominal cement:sand:aggregate ratio is useful for explaining quantities, but it does not guarantee strength or durability. For a small non-structural repair, check the selected repair product's permitted application and yield.

Compare quotes on one page

Keep one column per supplier and use the checklist below. Compare the payable total for the same volume and scope, not just the headline rate. Clarify any line marked 'included' and ask for a revised written offer when the specification or date changes.

Save the approved quantity calculation beside the quote, drawing revision and delivery contact. On the day, reconcile ordered and delivered volume using the tickets; record changes so the next pour does not start from an unexplained number.

Ready-mix supplier quote checklist

Send the same completed information to each supplier, then compare all charges on the same basis.

  • Project address, contact, delivery access and requested pour date/time.
  • Approved drawing revision, mix reference, required performance and testing.
  • Net volume, chosen allowance, total requested volume and order increment.
  • Quoted QAR/m³, delivery inclusion, minimum-load and short-load charges.
  • Pump mobilisation, reach, operating time, standby and extra-hour charges.
  • Agreed hot-weather measures, scheduling and cancellation conditions.
  • Quote date, validity, taxes if applicable, payment terms and exclusions.
  • Delivery ticket, final-volume confirmation and unused-concrete arrangements.

Questions people ask

What is the current concrete price per m³ in Doha?

This page does not claim a verified market price. Obtain dated plant quotes for the approved mix and address, then compare included services and total cost using the checklist.

How many cubic metres are in one concrete truck?

Capacity and allowed load vary by truck and route. Ask the supplier for its usable delivery capacity; do not divide a quote by an assumed universal truck size.

Is a night pour always cheaper?

No. Availability, staffing, permits and pump attendance can change the charge. Confirm the full night-pour scope in writing.
