This calculator turns lawn area, supplier roll coverage and a visible cutting allowance into a whole-roll sod order.
Sod is net area plus a waste you can edit, then pallets from the farm’s coverage. A pallet is not a magic 500 ft² everywhere — enter the coverage on the ticket.
Worked example. Example: a 30 ft × 20 ft lawn is 600 ft². With 10% waste and 10 ft² rolls, the calculation rounds up to 66 rolls.

No. Grading, topsoil, irrigation, drainage and installation requirements need separate review.
