This calculator adds a transparent planning contingency to a stated estimate cost without representing it as a final-price prediction.
GEN-CONT-001 sets aside a visible percentage after overhead and before markup. Construclytic will not hide contingency inside a round number. It does not pick the right percentage for your risk.
Worked example. Example: a $10,000 estimate with 10% contingency reserves $1,000, for a planning total of $11,000 before separately treated markup, discount or tax.
